engaging stories featuring talented child actors. They
grapple with common social situations seen every day in
every school. Skills are shown step-by-step and further
discussed by a narrator. Stories include: Charles Gets
Teased, Dion Scores!, Kristis First Day, Shana and
the Secret, and Tameka and the Bully. Provides a Book and
Movie option for each story. The book option reinforces
skills addressed in the movies. You can choose a talking
selection which reads the text aloud. Movies are
closed-captioned. Requirements: Windows 98 or

This CD-Rom by Attainment Company helps build vocabulary
using full-color talking picture cues in 5 subject
areas: Looking Good, Shopping Smart, Keeping House,
Plan Your Day, and Select-A-Meal for cues for dining out.
Each module contains dozens of talking pictures. Students
view images one at a time and work towards mastery using
match mode and talking multiple-choice quizzes.
Pictures can be printed to take along on community
outings. Requirements: Windows 98 or higher or MAC
OS 8.6 or higher.

move to different locations, 24 in all, learning new words
as they go. Select any object and it identifies itself. In
list option, students search for specific words
on their list. Where would you find a basketball, broom or
mailbox? How about a fire hydrant, fire truck or toaster?
Use the picture print option to create student
activities or illustrated vocabulary booklets. New feature
lets teachers select specific words on student lists.
Scores are saved to track skill development. Requirements:
